Director, Supply Management, Access & Egress Hardware Group SummaryLeads the development and implementation of supply management strategy to support business goals of the Access & Egress Hardware Group.
In conjunction with the AEH supply management teams, develops capabilities and supply initiatives to drive improved supply base performance.
Based in New Haven, CT, this position reports directly to the President of the Access & Egress Hardware Group.
Responsibilities Leads supply management policies for the AEH Ensures policy on supplier terms and conditions Drives improvement in cost, service and inventory Minimize supgroup risk and maintain compliance in area of environment, health, and safety (EH&S) regulations and policies Lead all supply chain activities including within the AEH:
logistics planning, materials management, inventory planning, optimizing freight costs, scheduling, order planning and fulfillment and indirect spends Drive continuous business improvement processes using technology, labor and asset solutions to improve service levels, cost position, and productivity Establish, analyze, and report on supply chain key performance indicators and business and quality metrics Establish yearly strategic objectives and related action plans and critical success factors for each operating entity in the subgroup Assume overall responsibility for the material management goals of the AEH, such as Material Throughput, Part shortages, Inventory Accuracy and implement plans to ensure that those goals are achieved.
Keep current and manage KPI's (key performance indicators) along with certain programs to monitor performance Drive lean transformation throughout the supply chain and continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process Develops team members through mentoring and coaching in complex subjects, providing performance management and employee development as necessary Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information, protect the assets of the organization, act with ethics and integrity, report non-compliance and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
Work with other team members to ensure accuracy of inventory and drive activities for improvement of same.
Work with suppliers to develop effective business relationships to facilitate improvements in all related aspects of the supplier relationship.
Supports cross functional teams to resolve quality issues working with both internal and external resources.
Additional duties/projects as assigned Requirements / Education An undergraduate degree in Supply Management, Business, Engineering or related field required; an advanced degree preferred is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years experience in full cycle supply chain management including procurement and logistics.
Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution Must have the ability to interact effectively at the highest levels of the company Knowledge and experience in lean, six sigma, operations and inventory management Strong executive presence with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation skills Demonstrated track record of successful process, productivity, quality and cost improvements Solid PC skills including proficiency in MS Office applications Ability to travel approximately 30%+, including internationally Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Communication Confidentiality Interpersonal Skills Materials Management Metrics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
