Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:
Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, overhead expenses, and operational expenditures.
Identify and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, incorporating cost trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.
Generate comprehensive and clear financial reports related to cost accounting.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
Identify areas for process improvement within the cost accounting function.
Implement efficient and effective cost accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
Work closely with various departments, including operations, procurement, and finance, to gather relevant cost data and insights.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial accuracy.
Preferred Experience of Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, inventory accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software and ERP systems.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
