Tasks
This position is responsible for routine configuration, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of UIL''s information
network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web filter/proxy,
Vulnerability scanner and security event management system. This position is also responsible for security event analysis
and incident response. This position will work with the information security team and other project teams to assist with
security design and implementation throughout the security lifecycle. The Information Network Security Analyst will create,
update, and maintain security standards, procedures, and diagram documentation for the security infrastructure. This work
is necessary to help ensure UIL''s systems are properly secured and information is protected.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science/software engineering or related field. and/or IP networking experience.#Minimum 2 years experience in the Information Security Fielld. Experience configuring Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems or next-gen firewalls# Strong knowledge of IP networking as well as general knowledge of operating systems and typical client server architecture. #Requires an understanding of information security vulnerabilities. Must be able to apply knowledge to prevent or mitigate exposure and detect potential compromise through event analysis.Able to work both independently and with teams and clearly communicate technical issues. Must be able to create and/or maintain written documentation and Visio diagrams. Experience working in a regulated utility or other regulated industry (NERC, SOX, GLBA, PCI,) preferred. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, GIAC, CISSP, Security
are preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
