Leading Sales Agency in Orange, CT seeks a highly talented and proven Director of Marketing. This key leader will execute the organizations marketing plan consistent with its business objectives and strategy. This position will oversee all Marketing functions and direct Company's overall marketing and strategic planning programs, and corporate communications. Roles and Responsibilities include working closely with Principal and Executive team to develop, execute, and monitor marketing and public relations campaigns and increase PFP's visibility to grow the brand and the business.
This position will ensure that products and services are marketed in accordance with Company objectives to maximize profitability and volume. Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs while continually evaluating the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for growing the business of the Company by expanding presence in existing and different product categories, channels and markets.
Responsible for establishing strategically relevant marketing plans consistent with the Company's vision, mission, strategy and business objectives.
Responsible for providing leads in new business development plans to achieve corporate objectives related to new product mix growth.
Develops, executes, and monitors public relations campaigns aimed at increasing PFP's brand awareness and ultimately helping to grow the business.
Utilizes keen understanding of media landscape to contribute to development of media relations strategy.
Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of Company products/services.
Responsible for research, analyzing and monitoring financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects and competitive activity.
Responsible for developing and managing marketing operating budget.
Responsible for the development and drafting of external brand communications such as newsletters and specialty e-communications
Ensure effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objective falls within designated budgets.
Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts; collaborates with Executive team & sales on new product development.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with a concentration in Marketing, Business or communications preferred along with at least five (5) years in a Marketing Director role.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing, the Social Media Landscape, trends and practices.
Insurance and or Credit Union experience a plus.
Experience in managing marketing projects, overseeing projects, setting priorities, and executing.
Strong leadership and consensus building skills with marketing management and strategic planning experience essential.
Proven track record in developing and administering a marketing plan.
Expert assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting marketing performance.
Excellent Problem Solving, oral and written communication skills.
A self-starter with a high degree of organization and self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Should possess polished presentation and interpersonal skills with top level business management and facilitation skills.
Ability to multitask; manage multiple priorities against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining positive relationships with employees and customers at all levels
Coordinate and attend press events, media tours and trade shows as necessary
Create media briefing documents for executive interviews
Review industry and competitor news to formulate future story ideas
Draft and distribute press releases

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
