Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist will use administrative and experience to assist and support management in meeting the objectives and responsibilities of the Division and to assist the team to achieve and exceed established goals. Organize, compile, summarize and analyze data/statistics and produce a variety of reports. Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of computerized and other data. Perform mathematical calculations and manipulate statistical data. Develop presentations and produce documents containing technical and/or legal terminology. Maintain confidentiality of all written documents and sensitive discussions.    Duties: Applies knowledge/skills to solve a range of moderately complex activities including new or unusual assignments within own area and respons to inquiries from others; solve moderately complex problems including new or unusual assignments.  Edits and coordinates project management reference manual topics, prepares and edits PMO Weekly Reminder. Documentation of TD PMO standards and subsequent communications. Assist in the implementation of Document Management for PMO. Works with moderate supervision/guidance; accountable for individual results and impact on team.  Participates in the design of project management process including the preparation of process flow charts, work instructions and training documentation. Works on management special initiative teams.  Technical writing preparing and/or editing. Coordinates the completion or project management reference manual topics.    Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in business is required.  Associates Degree from an accredited college/university. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Familiarity with database applications is required Experience with some advanced software applications may be required.  Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management and non-management employees. Ability to effectively and accurately organize large quantities of critical information that affect multiple constituencies. Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, other Divisions, and organizations outside UI, including customers.  Demonstrated interpersonal skills and working as a team member.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
