For Sale: 1935 Ford Phaeton in Orange, Connecticut for sale in Orange, CT

1 of 14
Vehicle Description The flathead V8 Ford was introduced in 1932 and the rest is history.
It instantly became one of the most popular cars in the world, not only because of its low price, but because of its amazing style and very powerful 85 horsepower engine that could outrun any car on the road at the time, even some of the most expensive.
Each year from 1932 on the Ford was given a facelift but for the 1935 model year it was drastic with more modern sleek round fender design, completely redesigned dashboard and a completely new modern body design.
A very good looking year for Ford especially for the open cars with such a low windshield.
This would also be the last year for wire wheels which is such a good looking feature.
Offered here is a really nice original example of an open 1935 Ford in phaeton form that has been under the same ownership of a well known east coast collector since the early 1960's.
Today it presents in well taken care of condition with a charm that only a good original car can have.
Mechanically it has just been serviced by us and runs and drives incredibly well.
The engine is its original 21 stud flathead engine.
It is also equipped with a deluxe banjo steering wheel, radio, period accessory musical horns and Columbia two speed rear axle.
Cosmetically it wears an older restoration, but it presents very well and is ready for top down driving and showing.
It's a car that has obviously always been well taken care of.
