Vehicle Description In the 1960's Pontiac was reinvented into a brand that appealed to the youthful crowd with sporty high performance models such as the Tempest, Catalina, GTO and, of course, the Firebird which debuted in 1967.
Essentially an upscale Chevrolet Camaro.
It shared the same body and platform as the Camaro, but was offered with multiple Pontiac drivetrains and was easily identifiable by its signature split grille.
It was cosmetically upgraded for the 1968 and 1969 years as was the Camaro, but the 1969 was the best of the first generation body style being offered with the best drivetrains and the most attractive styling.
Offered here is a great original 1969 Firebird convertible that has had only one owner since it was new in 1969.
Equipped with its original Pontiac 350 cubic inch V8 paired with its 3 speed turbo 400 automatic transmission.
Its finished in its original colors of Warwick blue paired with blue upholstery and its original blue top.
It is also equipped with factory Pontiac rally wheels.
Overall this is a nice original car that is in great driver quality condition.
Something that has its originality and can be driven and enjoyed.
Upon our acquisition from its original owner we serviced the brakes, rebuilt the carburetor and installed new BF Goodrich radial tires.
This one owner Firebird is now ready for the open road.
