For Sale: 1954 Jeep M83A1 in Orange, Connecticut for sale in Orange, CT

1 of 22
Vehicle Description Offered here is a very nice original M38A1 that is just out of an estate in Rhode Island where it was stored for many years.
It seems to have been a very good original low mileage surplus Jeep and later having had some light restoration work performed to keep it going, but presents very well.
Mechanically it runs and drives great and the four wheel drive works as well.
The upholstery is in great condition and the top is complete with a full set of side curtains and canvas doors.
It also features non directional tires for that real military look that look just right.
It also retains all of its proper M38 goodies such as its proper blackout light on the front fender as well as the proper grille, headlights and proper blackout signal lights.
Even an original military gas can is mounted on the rear that really gives it the right look.
The body tub is its original military M38 tub that features the large gas tank filler indentation as well as the external tool box compartment, Military dash with glove box and the indentation for a snorkel to be installed for driving through deep water.
We went through this Jeep mechanically and it runs and drives great.
It is ready for top down summer driving or off road fun.
